    awesome, awesome keep up the good work

  2. @mrjamesb56 Ever since I’ve been building systems (way back in 2000) it’s pronounced here in the U.S. as “A-zeus” or “A-soos.” Even the Japanese guys I used to buy stuff from pronounced it “A-soos.”

  3. you keep that in a test system what do you keep in your computures O_o

  4. @motherboardsorg theres a first time for everything it seems lol

    24gb. damn.

    nice system

  6. Got a Question for you , In your approximation , how does Tri Sli 8800 ultra’s compare to 1 gtx 470 in Benchmarks…. (I got 3 ultra’s ,and if I sell them ,gtx 470 is basically Free,So..)…

  7. @gor1l1a Because I am bored, I decided to wikipedia asus.

    wikipedia ASUS Origin of the name

    “According to the Asus sales manager Alexander Kim, the name Asus originated from Pegasus the winged horse of Greek mythology, seen as symbol of success and revival; the first three letters were dropped to give the resulting name a high position in alphabetical listings.”
    Japanese people pronounce Pegasus as Peg – azeus not Pegasus(Just checked with Japanese friend,).. Therefore… LOL!..

  8. @mrjamesb56 Hm, well I don’t know personally how well they would benchmark but at least with GTX 470 you’re getting DX11.

  9. @tqrules The memory is nothing special, can get it from newegg.

  10. “Why can!?, We can!!”….touche. nothing like a “fuck yea” to the audience =]

    @ironman1481 I was very impressed with the MSI 890 board we tested, the Asus and Gigabyte were cool, but the MSI board stood out the most.

    @Orbiter144 No difference from a strictly game playing scenario, overclocking and features are better on the P6X though…

    @motherboardsorg
    Also the P6X58D has True USB 3.0 and SATAIII onboard but the P6T doesn’t. Doesn’t affect Gaming per-se but it’s nice to have those features for the future when it will.
