  1. Says in the vid, Fraps, I now use XFire since it’s less laggy and does me well =)

  2. Infact, Fraps slowed the game while recording. I had been using Xfire and was much better .. :)

  3. Because of shitty optimization and poor porting.

Oh the joys of third rate console ports with half-assed emulation.

  4. LOL I have the EAH4670, and an earthwatts 500W PSU as well xD

  5. Ha ha, nice =p

  6. I have a 300 psu, can I run this card?

  7. @Jeffeezy23 Maybe, doubt it, I wouldn’t recommend it. Requirements claim 400w, but it doesn’t draw much more than 300-350w, but it also depends on the other items in your system and how much power they’re drawing. It’s best to be safe with a 400-450w replacement.

  8. Oh okay, thank you, I do thing I have a 350 PSu, but i haven’t really check, I don’t use anything really. Just the regular DVD drive and stuff, and my computer is pretty new so yah…Thanks for the advice tho!, I hope to get this gcard around next month :P

  9. @Jeffeezy23 Just don’t use a generic PSU.

  10. yo dude, awesome cheap rig man

btw dude, did the amount of space in your casing trouble anything? coz I’m getting a Cooler Master Elite 342 and XFX Radeon HD 4670 DDR3 1gb. Will it fit?

in the future, i’ll upgrade to Cooler Master 550w Extreme and XFX Radeon HD4870. Will that fit in too? if you answer this, you are one awesome guy.THX
    Thanks

  11. and yeah what monitor screen are you using? mine’s a LG 19” w1943 1366*768, but i want to play in 1280*720

  12. @darkhatir 20inch DELL E207WFP LCD monitor.

  13. @darkhatir Had some cable issues, I’ll return you a PM with a photo.

  14. @darkhatir You’d be better off upgrading to a Radeon 5770, still pretty cheap and within the price of the 4870 I’d say, it’s much better in performance and is now the new mainstream card.

    The 4870 needs a minimum of 500w with a 75w 6pin PCI E connection.

    The 5770 needs a minimum of 450w with a 75w 6pin PCI E connection.

  15. @darkhatir And I can’t PM you because you have friend lock on, give me an email at guidehawky[at]hotmail[dot]com

  16. i have this card dont run it on a standard 250w psu i fried my psu and i bought a 400w ocz stealth extreme wich runs perfectly

  17. @basbas63 of course you can’t use a generic or standard 250w psu -.-

  18. @PwnageHawk haha i know (now) i didn’t knew what psu was in there so i tried (there was notting on the psu not one single letter)

  19. @basbas63 Should get yourself a PSU wattage meter tester.

  20. Hey, can you help me out? I am stuck between buying the biostar version of this card and the asus? The good thing about biostar is that it has 2000mhz memory clock while the asus is only at 1600mhz. Which one should i get? Price does not matter. Thanks.

  21. @VebSoulJa If you’re using large resolutions like 1600×1050, then buy the 2,000 mhz memory one. But I’ve never heard of biostar, so not sure about the quality on that. Go for a good popular brand, I’d choose ASUS (overclocked core to 785-790).

  22. great vid
    thx for share

  23. @LouGypsyBlue np =p

  24. Hey there, PwnageHawk,
I know how good it feels to get a graphics card that doesn’t lag haha I have the ATI 4670 too!
It was fun watching the video btw, thanks for uploading.
Check out my videos if you have time, I also use the same card, might upgrade to something better next month.

  25. @RTX94
I see no reason to upgrade as of yet, I’m still able to play games on the highest settings so it’s not an issue as of yet. Considering Crytek believes Crysis 2 will run better on even lower requirements than Crysis 1, and if they hold true to their word, I won’t be upgrading =p
