I sold this on ebay! I just wanted to show why Alienware is “Kick Ass.”

    damn, dats a fast azz laptop!

    just realized something. on the laptops, they need to place the keyboard farther away from the screen.

    you would think ‘alienware’ would have though about this, and designed it with gamerz in mind :OP just a thought..

  3. Yeah I sucked, that’s why I sold it, but it was
    $3000.00 when I first bought it; I only wanted to show how fast the graphics card could respond, so it didn’t matter for the video.

  6. I like portability. I got a MSI-GX620 Gaming Laptop; it just came out. Alienware charges too much…

  10. What are the specifications on that machine???

    And are the hard drives in raid configuration? If so what kind is it, Raid 0 or 1. I have the same machine and it runs laggy on the demo version of COD 4.

    Ive got the following

    3.8ghz intel processor
    300gb 7200 rpm raid 0 hd
    2gb of ram
    7800 gtx 256mb nvidia

  12. I know this machine is awsome, but also Im watching a large number of people selling them, people is changing their minds about this product? I want one too.

  13. Can someone recommend If I should buy an Alienware laptop or a Sager? People are saying Sager is better but I don’t know.

    The reason people are selling them is because this came out in October 2005.
    Whoever is selling them probably upgraded their computer already

  15. Well I think Sager offers a better price, and similar performance, Intel Core 7i, nvidia GTX, blue ray, 17″ HD Screen, etc, for the half-price.

  17. i don’t know about the laptops, but on my desktop I’m able to play like 8 hours straight until it starts to get hot.

  21. Alienware is notorious for getting hot, their first Laptop Motherboards used to burn out after a few uses.

  25. Kick ass? Huh. I had nothing but problems with my m7700. A bunch of red vertical lines filled the screen. Got that fixed, and then the battery got shitty and could only hold a charge for a minute or two. Shortly after that, the backlight burnt out. I hate the wear marks that appear as well. I don’t know… I had a bunch of problems despite taking great care of it.
