Trolls.
I’m not sure how much diifferent the s series is from the z but I would like to see a viedo similar to this with the S.
A Viao Z with an integrated ATi Radeon GPU will be cool too, even if is a bit bigger…
I wonder, The new Sony vaio z series has dual fan , so why people still complain about heat problems ???? Dear Sony crew, before releasing such an expensive product, fix heating problem !!!!!
@dbarrera767 It’s practically the same hardware.Main difference is that the Vaio S has a built in disk drive and hybrid graphics. In order to be more portable, the Vaio Z offers the disk drive and graphics via an external hub.It really depends on what you want to carry and your style tastes.Do you plan on carrying an external DVD drive? If so, you may be better off with the Vaio S.Do you hardly ever use a disk while on the go, and can you work without integrated graphics? If so, the Z is great.
Sorry to say this Sony but cooling on your products is not great.
I had a Sony Vaio P and it was overheating in just 10 minutes after a fresh start and from that point was only working at half frequency to protect the CPU and since it was a single core atom it become useless at that level.
did anyone else notice how shinji oguchi keeps nodding throughout. lol.
he is probably .. ‘ i can’t understand shit they’re saying but.. hai, .. hai,.. ‘
@dbarrera767Here are some of the differences between the VAIO S and the VAIO Z:
The Z is smaller and lighter with a screen size of 13.1 and weight of 2.5lbs, but both have the same 2.70 GHz, Dual CPU, and Core i7. The Z is a little better on battery. Also the Z comes with the Power Media Dock which the other VAIOs do not.
Hope that helps!
The difference between the Vaio S and Vaio is, how much do you want to expend. Simple as pie.
@harshwbajpai no it’s part of their culture ….it means they are listening what you saying and not fucking around
I want to see the details of how he took apart it. Anyone know if its CPU is upgradable?
Are the SSD hard drives build in to the motherboard? Can you upgrade the Z with your our SSD drives?
@JPBalletDancer you can but they are a special format so that it is not as easy to upgrade but possible
@sgnl still think the S is priced comparative and the Z is way overpriced
@hlshcd i doubt the cpu is upgradable its probabley intergrated because its a laptop, im not sure myself
Price is not an issue for me; this laptop lacks USB 3.0 unless you buy the entire media dock.
